Water Authority – Cayman wishes to advise its valued customers and the motoring public that a portion of Elgin Avenue will be closed today (Monday 21 October) to facilitate work to repair a water leak.

The work will take place between the junction of Hospital Rd/Elgin Ave and Goring Ave/Louise Llewellyn Way (see attached map). The closure will be in effect for the remainder of the day, with works expected to be completed this evening. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Residents who live and work within the affected area will have local access to the road. Traffic signs will be posted in the general vicinity, and all motorist are asked to drive with caution to ensure their safety, as well as that of the Water Authority staff.

The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public as it undertakes these works, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
