Water Authority – Cayman wishes to advise customers and the public of leak detection work taking place in George Town. The work, which begins today (21 May), will continue through the weekend (Sunday, 24 May), covering the area from Bobby Thompson Way, along Linford Pierson Highway, moving further East up to the Red Bay area.
The work will primarily take place during the night; however, some daytime work will be necessary. During the work, customers may experience intermittent water service when Water Authority crews are working in their vicinity, within the general leak detection zone.
Additionally, to facilitate the work, traffic management measures will be in place. The Authority encourages all motorists to follow all traffic signs and to drive with caution in the area to ensure their safety and the safety of the Authority’s crew.
The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public as it conducts the necessary work on the water infrastructure.
