As our islands continue to battle the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge all our customers to abide by the Cayman Islands Government’s regulations and guidelines for the “Shelter-In-Place” order and stay home. Staying home will save lives. If you must leave your home for essential outings, be vigilant in practising social distancing and continue to wash your hands.

The Water Authority is committed to doing our part to provide you with water and wastewater service during this pandemic. Our essential workers are working diligently to ensure continuity of service. These workers include members from our laboratory, operations team, wastewater team and Cayman Brac office.

During this shelter-in-place period, the Authority will focus on providing essential services only; these are services that ensure our customers have water supply and wastewater services.

Customers who need service connections due to a change of ownership or tenancy should email our Customer Service team at info@waterauthority.ky. A Customer Service Representative will reach out to you to guide you through the process.

Customers who experience service interruptions should call the Authority’s emergency hotline 946-HELP (946-4357). Customers in Cayman Brac that required potable water services can continue to make a delivery request by phone at 948-1403, during the reduced hours of 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

We thank you for your patience as we adapt. We also encourage our customers to remain calm and continue to take action to prevent the spread of the virus. We are all in this together.
