Please ensure that your street address is correctly stated on your application, that is, house # and correct street name. This will ensure that we can easily locate your house for connection, service and/or in the case of an emergency.
If a meter box was previously installed at the location and service is now being applied for, a reconnection fee of $25.00 will be charged and a deposit if applicable. No meter installation charge is necessary for existing meter boxes.
After an account is requested at the Authority, a site inspection will be scheduled with the customer and our Quality Assurance Inspector to determine placement of the meter box. For overview of service hook-up see isometric customer connection diagram.
When the meter box location has been agreed, the customer is required to run his/her pipe to the agreed location. To see a typical household connection click here. Once the customer has installed the pipe to the agreed point the customer needs to contact a customer service representative to schedule an installation of WAC equipment. Prior to installation of WAC equipment, the Quality Assurance Inspector will approve the pipe layout.
Once WAC equipment is installed the account is automatically activated and account billing commenced.
