Water Authority – Cayman wishes to advise the motoring public of road works planned for Sunday, 4 May 2025, that will require a partial road closure along Shamrock Road and Bodden Town Road.

The Authority will conduct work on its equipment located at the intersection of Poindexter Road and Shamrock Road. The eastbound lane of Shamrock Road, between Ocean Club and Poindexter Road, will be closed between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM.  Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the East-West Arterial. Local access will be granted to residents of the work area.

The Authority will also conduct infrastructure work on a section of Bodden Town Road in the vicinity of Frenchman’s Drive). To facilitate the works, the westbound lane will close from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM, and the eastbound land will close from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  During these temporary, partial road closures, one lane will remain open for traffic.

Traffic signs will be posted in the general vicinity of the two work areas, and all motorists are asked to drive cautiously to ensure their safety and that of the Water Authority staff.
