Water Authority – Cayman wishes to advise its customers of road works in Cayman Brac that will take place from Wednesday, 23 July 2025, to Friday, 25 July 2025. The work, which will be conducted overnight, is being undertaken to upgrade the water supply infrastructure and support ongoing leak detection efforts in the area.  There will be some traffic disruptions and temporary service interruptions to customers in the area during the work.

On Wednesday, 23 July 2025, works will take place at the intersection of Cross Road and West End Road, from midnight to 6:00 A.M. Customers in the following areas will experience an interruption of service during this period:

  • All customers on the northern side of Cayman Brac
  • A portion of Cross Road (between the Water Authority’s West End Water Works and West End Road).

On Thursday, 24 July 2025, works will take place at the intersection of Cross Road and Gerrard Smith Avenue from midnight to 6:00 A.M. Customers in the following areas will experience an interruption of service during this period:

  • All customers on the southern side of Cayman Brac
  • A portion of Cross Road (between the junction of Gerrard Smith Avenue and the Water Authority’s West End Water Works)
  • Gerrard Smith Avenue (including all side roads)
  • South Side Road West

On Friday, 25 July 2025, works will take place at the intersection of Dennis Foster Road and Terrace Drive from midnight to 6:00 A.M. Customers in the following area will experience an interruption of service during this period:

  • All customers on the northern side of Cayman Brac (East of Kirkconnell Street)

The motoring public is asked to exercise caution while driving in the area, as our crew will be actively working on the road during this time, and follow all traffic management signs.
