System assessments following Hurricane Ian have resulted in the identification of a damaged water main in the Rum Point area. As a result, water service has been interrupted for customers west of the Sea Lodges at Cayman Kai, which is located on Rum Point Rd. These include customers on the following roads:
Unfortunately, due to flooding in the area, repair works will not be able to take place until the flooding has receded. Subject to the water in the area receding, repair works are planned to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 27 September 2022, at 9AM, and will last approximately 4 hours.
The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its customers and the public as it undertakes these works and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
All customers are encouraged to inspect their homes for any damaged pipes, especially if there are any uprooted trees.
